Once a month, in the cozy dining room at the Mayo House, a group of people gather to talk about their latest literary finds. Organized and facilitated by our trustee Linda Nixon, the book club has a nature-based focus and will sometime have a guest speaker or plan a field trip.
Our book club is free and open to the public, upcoming selections include:
March 10th – Of Time and Turtles
by Sy Montgomery
April 14th – The Backyard Bird Chronicles by Amy Tan
May 12th – Braiding Sweetgrass
by Robin Wall Kimmerer
June 9th – Why Fish Don’t Exist
by Lulu Miller
